Suggest good medicine for knee joint pain or Arthritis on my left knee pain severe and my movement becomes very difficult to walk for a short distance

I am suffering from the above mentioned problem for 10 months. Pls suggest a good medicine. All the doctor say that go for knee replacement surgery
